Enthusiastic Teaching Assistants required for immediate start

Areas of work:

Battersea (Wandsworth), Kingston, Richmond, Merton, Sutton


The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, your main role is to support the teacher with the classroom, and help children with their educational and social development.

Some teaching assistants are asked to work 1:1 to support children with certain individual needs, whilst others work in small groups.

Duties can include getting the classroom ready for lessons, listening to children read or reading to them, helping children who need extra support to complete tasks, and supervising group activities.


Requirements:


  • An
    up to date CV showing paid employment covering the last two years.
  • Be able to
    show experience working with children in a coaching, tutoring, teaching or mentoring role.

_You must have all of the above to be able to be cleared for work._

_The following qualifications and experience will be taken into account for pay rates, long term placement opportunities, etc._

  • First Aid Certificate
  • Relevant Special Education Certificates
  • Level 14 Teaching Assistant Certificate

Salary
PAYE rates between

£85 - £90 per day.
