We would like to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and forward thinking Clinician to join a well-integrated team and support us with our advisory and treatment services in Orthodontics, for the Newcastle region, North-East & Cumbria.

We offer excellent clinical facilities, with appropriate laboratory, nursing and multi-disciplinary team support on-site.

The Orthodontic Department currently has a team of 6 Consultants plus this post, 1 Associate Specialist, 1 Dentist with Special Interest in Orthodontics, 3 SpRs, 3 Post-CCSTs and is supported by a team of 13 Orthodontic Nurses and 5 Technicians.

Multidisciplinary clinics form a significant part of department's workload and we work very closely with Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Restorative Dentistry and Cleft services.

As a Teaching Hospital we are also committed to delivering high quality of teaching and clinical supervision to our trainees.

We very much look forward to appointing a new Consultant who will replace our leaving Colleague. A future Consultant can expect a warm welcome and strong support from the whole existing team.
