SENDCO - Initially teaching in Key Stage 2


The Head Teacher and Governors of Parkhead Community Primary are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher and SENDCO to join our friendly, happy and inspirational school from September 2024, being part of the successful senior leadership team within school.

Initially, the teaching commitment will be within Key Stage 2. At Parkhead we believe that every child should be valued, cared for and enabled to achieve their highest goals.

A genuine passion for the role of SENDCO and inclusion is essential, as is an understanding of SEN processes, inclusion priorities and the ability to use initiatives and inspire and lead staff.


You must have high expectations of yourself and of our children and be highly motivated to providing the very best opportunities and experiences for the children of our school.

Ideally you will hold the National SENDCO qualification or be prepared to complete this within two years of appointment. Experience of working with pupils with a range of additional needs is essential.
