Our client, a market leading electronics company, are looking for a Hardware Team Leader to join their growing engineering team.

This established company has seen an influx of new projects and engineers over the past 12 months and they now need to add anHardware Team Leader to team.

The appoint Team Leader should have a strong background in hardware and an excellent understand of embedded systems.

As Hardware Team Leader you will still be involved in day to day engineering activates and have responsibilityfor your own portfolio of work alongside mentor and develop others within the team.

You will be joining a growing business, who are offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work on some really exciting projects.

Hardware Team Leader - Role and Responsibilities - Hardware Team Leader / Hardware / Electronics / PCB / Embedded Systems

Manage multiple projects including new design and rework/modification
Efficiently work to deadlines and guarantee delivery on company deadlines
Varied role encompassing all aspects of hardware engineering including PCB schematics, layout design, microprocessors, circuit design and test engineering
Exposure to firmware/embedded software would be beneficial
Liaise with other members of the engineering team to deliver a top quality product
Mentoring and developing the team, teaching them new skills and best practice

Hardware Team Leader - Skills and Abilities - Hardware Team Leader / Hardware / Electronics / PCB / Embedded Systems

Degree qualified in Electrical and Electronic Engineering / Communication Engineering or equivalent
Proficient in the use of PCB schematic capture and layout software
Knowledge of embedded processors and digital systems advantageous. VHDL experience preferred
The ability to demonstrate experience in EMC good practice and design
