Description

Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive training curricula and materials for SIA Security and Fire Marshal training programs, incorporating industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
Deliver engaging and informative training sessions to security personnel and fire marshals, utilising a variety of instructional techniques and technologies to enhance learning outcomes.
Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training programs, identify areas for improvement, and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
Provide ongoing support and coaching to trainees, addressing questions, concerns, and performance issues as needed.
Maintain accurate records of training activities, including attendance, evaluations, and feedback, to track progress and demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Valid SIA Security Industry Authority license and Fire Marshal certification required.
Proven experience as a Trainer or Instructor in the security or fire safety field, with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of security operations, emergency response procedures, and fire prevention techniques.
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
Proficiency in instructional design principles and adult learning theory, with experience developing training materials and assessments.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all training activities and documentation.
Flexibility to travel occasionally and work evenings or weekends as needed to accommodate training schedules and operational requirements.
