Pipefitter/Welder


We have an exciting new role within our clients team as a Pipefitter/welder to support the demands of the growing, successful business.

This role offers a good salary +benefits and opportunities for progression.

All applicants require qualifications and experience within welding/pipefitting.


The Job

Main Duties will include:

  • Fitting pipe, valves, pumps, Instruments, brackets and steel work.
  • Fabrication with the design and build of Vessels and tanks, Heat exchangers and Evaporators, Filtration systems, pasteurizes, Jacketed pipework for food industry.
  • Strong understanding of various processes and plant equipment; CIP sets, Control Valves, Heat exchanges, Steam systems and ducts, condensate traps, pressure reducing sets, glycol, chemical and process lines.
  • Reactive and proactive maintenance of factory equipment.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, P&ID's, flow sheets and layout drawings, produce isometric drawings from site, for design use.

The Person

  • Indepth knowledge and experience with welding Pipe, Sheet metal and Plate of various Materials, Sizes and Thickness; stainless steel, carbon steel and various alloys.
  • Skilled in TIG, MIG and Stick welding processes.
  • Highly motivated individual with the ability to work alone but still be part of a team.
  • Experience of installing equipment in food, beverage, brewery, bakery, dairy and utility industries.
  • A full, valid driving licence.

£18.00 per hour
