Description

We're looking for an experienced
Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team, delivering planned gas maintenance services for our multi-site client.


  • Basic Salary: Up to £45,935 per annum (dependent on experience)
  • Additional earnings available through overtime
  • Van (with option for personal use) and fuel card
  • Smartphone, tools, uniform, PPE

Responsibilities


Working for one of our household name clients, you'll be a key member of the gas maintenance team responsible for delivering planned and preventative gas maintenance, fault finding and repair, as well as ensuring high levels of Health & Safety complianceat all times.

We are looking for somebody with previous experience working as Commercial Gas Engineer or similar.

You will enjoy working autonomously and be responsible for delivering planned and preventative gas maintenance, fault finding and repair work, as well asensuring high levels of Health & Safety compliance at all times.


As a skilled Gas Engineer, you'll have experience gained within a Facilities Management or Construction environment, with a proven track record of working on high profile commercial contracts, ideally within retail/supermarkets.


You'll enjoy working in a varied environment as you'll be out and about on the road traveling to client stores throughout your area.

Essential:


  • A recognised Commercial Gas Qualification
  • HVAC Knowledge
  • Valid UK driver's license
- "On the job" experience working as Commercial Gas Engineer role or similar.

  • Strong communication skills and work ethic.
  • Awareness and knowledge of health & safety.

Desirable as training will be provided:

  • Supermarket Experience

Other Information:

This position has a requirement for 1 in 4 on call.
