We are delighted to be recruiting a Business Administration Apprentice to support the Youth Employability Service (YES) team as they work with young people that find it difficult to enter, or stay in, education, employment and/or training across East Sussex.


The apprentice will be expected to lead on general administration tasks across the team to enable the smooth and efficient running of YES East Sussex alongside support to wider projects in the area.

The post holder will provide reception cover in the main office in Eastbourne and will be the important first point of contact for those accessing these offices.


Main responsibilities:

- undertaking and completing the Level 3 Business Apprenticeship qualification;
- data entry of referrals onto the East Sussex County Council database;

  • Minute taking at team meetings.
- an interest in administrative tasks with some demonstrable experience;
- experience of using Microsoft Office effectively (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
- a high level of organisational skills with good time management;
- excellent oral and written communication skills.
