A reputable company in Lancaster is seeking a skilled and motivated Credit Controller to join their finance team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong financial acumen and exceptional communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the endtoend credit control process, including the pursuit of outstanding debts, reconciliation of accounts, and ensuring adherence to credit policies.
Assess and mitigate credit risks by establishing appropriate credit limits and terms.
Liaise with clients to resolve payment discrepancies, negotiate payment plans, and maintain positive relationships.
Collaborate with internal departments to optimize invoicing procedures and maintain accurate financial records.
Prepare comprehensive reports on debtor status and contribute insights for financial planning.

Requirements:

Proven experience in credit control or a similar finance role.
Sound knowledge of credit control procedures and debt collection strategies.
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical thinking and problemsolving abilities.
