An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Gynaecology department at Withybush General Hospital for a waiting list coordinator in the Gynaecology Care Suite.

The role is primarily responsible for the administration of the waiting lists for patients requiring appointments and gynaecology procedures.

The Gynaecology care suite undertake outpatient appointments and procedures in house, such as hysteroscopy and polypectomy.

Working in a busy office you will be responsible for the administration and organisation of gynaecological outpatient waiting lists.

As first point of contact within the office you will need to have strong telephone communication and interpersonal skills, With a friendly and resourceful nature, you will be able to prioritise your workload.

Sometimes dealing with sensitive and delicate issues.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.


Hywel Dda University Health Board is the planner and provider of NHS healthcare services for people in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and its bordering counties.

Numerous locations providing mental health and learning disabilities services;

Highly specialised and tertiary services commissioned by the Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee, a joint committee representing seven health boards across Wales.
