My client is a leading and global organisation, specialising within reliable quality and technology which contributes to various medical settings.

Based in Larne, they are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team.

This is a Full-Time, Permanent position.

Salary dependent on experience


Job Purpose:


As Project Manager, you will be ensuring planning, execution and monitor/control processes are aligned for effective delivery of tech transfer of solutions.

You will have significant experience in defining objectives, budgets, business cases, and schedulesfor projects, with the ability to challenge project teams to increase efficiency, reduce waste and honour commitments.


Essential Criteria:


  • Minimum 3 years Project Management experience gained within a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Good working knowledge and experience of project/program management disciplines, methodology and tools.
  • Ability to develop project business cases including business justifications (i.e. ROI, payback period etc.).
  • Track record of successful delivery of projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload while working to deadlines with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Good conflictmanagement skills, with the ability to read situations quickly.

Desirable Criteria:


  • PMP and/or Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, MBA.
  • 5 years project management experience delivering highvalue pharmaceutical manufacturing projects.
  • Proficient in the use of Enterprise Portfolio Management software (Innotas / Planview / MS Project Server).

Main Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Provide overall project management support for program workstream budgets, resources, forecasts, tasks, schedules, risks, change management, and status to support effective decisions and reporting on progress as well as problems and viable solutions tostakeholders and review boards.
  • Coach and support workstream technical leads using project management tools to ensure detailed schedules are developed and executed with quality and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with workstream technical leads to Initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control workstream scope, coordinate delivery of workstreams and report on issues and status.
  • Work closely with workstream leads and the Program Manager to understand workstream scope and influence the requirements to ensure the best solution.
  • Partner with Program Manager to integrate workstream schedules into master program schedule, identifying / managing dependencies between workstreams (intraprogram).
  • Monitor and control workstream performance against scope, budget, schedule, quality, and safety requirements.
  • Work with workstream technical leads to identify, monitor, track and control risks within workstreams.
  • Partner with workstream technical leads to routinely update workstream schedules, ensure effective meeting management, and communicate meeting minutes, outcomes, action items, and next steps.
  • Identify changes in the work scope with the Client, ensuring these are managed via the change control process at correct stages.
  • Manage reimbursement from the Client based on execution of statement of work deliverables.
