Career-enhancing opportunity to join this specialist tax team as a Senior Corporate Tax Advisor in Glasgow.

As part of a commercially astute and high-achieving team, you will see the direct impact of your efforts and input within their fast-growing Scottish tax practice.

Clients range from private equity backed companies, large corporates, and private businesses in Scotland and across the UK. You will be responsible for drafting corporation tax advice reports for a range of clients.

You will act as a role model and mentor to junior members of the team, reviewing and supporting them with their own compliance work and taking on some of the more complex compliance work.

In addition, the role will require direct, regular communication with clients, HMRC and relevant third-party contacts.

In turn, you will run with client engagements, receive excellent training, as well as exposure to interesting and varied work.

You will also be involved in working on mid-market M&A tax work for UK clients, the majority of which are London-based.

This is a chance to widen your technical exposure, supporting with drafting tax elements of due diligence reports.

The team have a strong pipeline of advisory work and are keen to engage highly inquisitive individuals with strong technical abilities to support with this.

You will be CA/CTA qualified with demonstrable UK corporate tax experience gained within a Big 4 or Top 10 Accountancy practice.

You will be an ambitious individual, with determination to grow your tax career in a high-calibre firm and gain exposure to larger and/or more complex clients.

M&A tax experience is not essential, as you will gain support and coaching from a close-knit team of highly experienced and qualified tax advisors.

You will, however, be an exceptional communicator and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
