THE SEARCH:

Altus Partners is pleased to be partnering with a Private Equity backed software business based in London to hire a Senior Manager in the Corporate Development team.

The role comes with extensive exposure to the PE backers as well as the C-Suite. This rolecomes with market-leading bonus, compensation, and equity. M&A experience is an essential minimum for this role, while strategic decision making will also be useful.

THE ROLE:

The role will focus on strategic planning of new business opportunities and decision-making to expand the firm's capabilities as well as involvement in potential acquisition and partnership opportunities.

Support M&A opportunities through indepth quantitative and qualitative analysis
Manage due diligence processes, external advisors, and support teams
Build and maintain operating models using statistical analysis
Monitor industry and marketplace trends in addition to conducting necessary research to expand the company's capabilities
Prepare and deliver presentations to management team, board members, and investors
Create financial models which analyse current and past trends in key performance indicators, including all areas of revenue, cost of sales and operating expenditure
Help drive the company's commercial agenda and support decisions on commercial viability of proposals and new business opportunities
Provide datadriven decision support and business intelligence

THE REQUIREMENTS:

36 years' relevant experience in corporate finance/Strategy Consultancy
Experience of working in a demanding environment, particularly with an M&A focus
Exceptional interpersonal skills in addition to proven sales and negotiation expertise
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong knowledge of corporate finance, accounting, and financial modelling
Exceptionally detailoriented with an aptitude for developing innovative solutions
Previous experience working with Private Equity backed businesses developing strategy, plans, and operational projects
Previous experience managing or involvement in PE exit processes
Experience in M&A transactional experience as a deal captain or as a senior team member is very beneficial
Experience working in a fastmoving technology business or with PE backed businesses is also beneficial
