We are looking for a highly organised and enthusiastic individual to join the Specialist Palliative Care Team in Redbridge as a Senior Administrator.


The post holder will work as an Administrator for the team and be responsible for providing excellent customer service and contributing proactive information to support the team with referrals into the service.


  • Provide a high quality confidential and comprehensive administrative service to the Specialist Palliative Care team
  • Act as a central point of contact for external and internal callers, making judgements regarding appropriate dissemination of key information to team members
  • This post may involve speaking to both patients and their carers and relatives that are upset and stressed.

Probationary Period
Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust.

All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment.

As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes.

The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

High Cost Area Supplement London

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,313 and a maximum payment of £5,436 per annum pro rata).
