TSR Ipswich Ltd are very happy to be working with a great client based on the outskirts of Ipswich who are looking to add a wood machinist to their expanding team.

This is a company that really looks after its workers and has many people who have been there for more than 10 years

It is a varied role but will include the following duties:

  • Preparing a wide range of wood to different sizes and lengths depending on the requirements of the production team
  • Operating multiple machines to achieve the desired finishes needed to keep stocks at an acceptable levels
  • Being proactive in your approach to work to ensure deadlines are met with regards to
  • Helping out in the other sides of production when required
There is also plenty of overtime available

If you have the following, you could be exactly who we're looking for:

  • Previous wood machinery experience
  • Own transport due to location
  • Positive attitude and a want to help others around you and learn new things

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent, Temp to perm


Salary:
£10.50-£11.50 per hour


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Stowmarket: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:


  • Machinist: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
