We are currently working with a growing Client based in Watford who are looking for a Assistant Accountant to join their growing Finance Division.


Overview of duties:

  • Maintain Fixed Asset Register
  • Process additions, disposals, transfers and depreciation for all locations and ensuring register is clear and accurate.
  • Analysis and reconciliation of costs
  • Support the fixed asset inventory process by sending the reports, analysing the results and communicating the results and actions required to location managers.
  • VAT reconciliation, obtain VAT invoices from vendor.
  • Ensure payroll journals are actioned from Payroll department each fortnight and period end.
  • Assist in coding & routing vendor invoices.
  • Preparation of period end journals.
  • Knowledge of Double entry Bookkeeping
  • Provide assistance and cover other adhoc duties.


This role is based in Watford and will be office based (working hours 9am - 5:30pm) with an hours lunch break.
