Job Description:
To support children and young people from the age of 2 to 16 years old with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties within their school/nursery and home setting.
This includes, individual interventions, within a group or classroom environment, along with regular communication and advice for families in the home.
To model/coach/deliver training to school staff in appropriate approaches/interventions and be able to evidence positive impact.To work with independence, initiative and maintain accurate records.
The role includes attending multi agency meetings, along with writing detailed reports i.e. to support a request to assess for an EHCP, CAMHS referrals, observation and intervention reports etc.
To provide advice to Headteachers and school staff on whole school/individual positive behaviour management strategies.
