As a New Connections Supervisor on our Southern Water contract, you will be required to Supervise and carry out new connection surveys.

Attending site meetings to maximise day-to-day operations and ensuring the planning of work.

In this fast-paced environment, we'll be making good use of health & safety expertise, as well as your organisation.

You will ensure our field teams are effectively managed and able to cope with project demand and appropriate assistance and mentorship is provided to promote a 'right first time and zero harm safety culture'.


These are just a few of the activities you'll be involved in:

  • Promote and drive continual improvement and innovative ideas
  • Proactively manage schedules to minimise disruption and preventable mistakes
  • Ensure survey work meets customer and highway regulations
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant H&S and environmental legislation
  • Conduct new connection surveys
  • Meeting with customers and highways
  • Organising Traffic management
  • Action road closures
  • Planning in job requesting drawings and setting dates for work to go ahead
  • Ordering fittings

What you need to be successful:

You will be an experienced supervisor with good all-round technical knowledge of the construction & water industry, possessing a NRSWA Supervisor qualification and a thorough understanding of the Streetworks & Traffic Management acts is ideal.

Blue card qualification is also desirable.
