Premier Recruitment Solutions require an Office Administrator for our client based in Woking on a long-term contract, Permanent employment opportunities are also available


Our Environmental Services business has seen extraordinary nationwide growth over the last few years, and we're looking for an Admin Support Officer to help us continue to deliver a first-class service within our helpdesk and tree dept.


Job Purpose


To work as part of the operational team providing admin support, including the use of specialist IT software systems to provide support to the management.


Key Responsibilities


Produce prioritised work plans for the tree work contractor arranging traffic management where necessary and monitor progress producing reports and statistics tracking performance.

Respond to customer enquiries, queries within corporate guidelines.

A high standard of accuracy, quality and customer care shall be maintained at all times to ensure that services are delivered, and any problems resolved within the terms of the Service Level Agreement.


Person Specification

Skills/Abilities

  • Well organised, selfmotivated and able to prioritise a changing workload to meet deadlines
  • Numerate and literate to good standard.
  • Excellent observation and decisionmaking skills
  • Excellent communication skills in verbal and written form.
  • Ability to maintain and build upon third party, internal and external relationships in line with Council policies. (desirable)

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of and competency using databases and asset management systems
  • Understanding of frontline operational services
  • Understanding the principles of performance and compliance management
  • Demonstrable previous relevant industry experience is desirable

Qualifications

  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent

Personal

  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must have ability to work as part of a team to achieve the company goals
  • Must have a flexible ''Can Do'' approach to support the smooth running of the services
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver demanding objectives
  • Willingness to undertake further training.

The Package
- £12 ph
