Infrastructure Specialist

What you'll be doing:

Assisting in translating business needs into technical requirements.
Performing all required tasks to ensure technical availability.
Maintaining reports and reporting tools for traffic management, service centres and enterprise partners.
Assisting in interpreting operational results.
Analysing usage patterns and establishing schedules and procedures for maximum utilization of the system.
Interacting with other organizations to develop solutions for anticipated technical needs in support of business objectives.

What we're looking for:

Demonstrable experience in contributing to the successful delivery of technical programmes of work through handson deployment, troubleshooting and contribution to designs.
Indepth knowledge and understanding of multiple technologies including, but not limited to, the Microsoft technology stack.
Demonstrates proficiency through experience and valid industry certifications.
Ability to work under direction but also unsupervised.
Demonstrable experience in IT, with recent experience as an Infrastructure Specialist or Senior Engineer.
Understanding of two of the following technologies, VMware/Citrix/Storage/Backup/Replication/AD, understanding of networks
Project delivery experience.
Contributes to the identification and communication of technical risk.
Demonstrable experience in delivering quality technical artefacts including High

- and Low-Level Designs.

Indepth understanding of technology and a working knowledge of Cyber Security good practice.
Ability to communicate effectively at project/programme management levels of an organisation.
Good knowledge of governance practices including change control.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
