Job Description:
Our Central Security Manager in the East Midlands is looking to recruit reliable and dedicated Gatehouse Operative.
Effective Gatehouse operations play a vital role within the UK Operation, given the nature of our business and our commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Ensuring that only authorised vehicles (DPD, Subcontractors and delivery vehicles) are given access and egress to the site
- Communicating to other departments within the business with reference to vehicle movements
- Physical checks of vehicle details and seals
- Ensuring that all reported empty trailers arriving & departing are physically checked.
- Working as part of a team to deliver excellent gatehouse security and customer service.
- Coordinating activities between contractors, employees and visitors.
- Liaising with emergency services and other thirdparty organisations.
Qualifications:
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a similar position would be advantageous but full training will be provided. We want someone with computer skills to who is able to use our internal systems.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are critical to succeed in this role as are excellent interpersonal skills as you will be dealing with, staff, international drivers and visitors on a daily basis.

- Flexibility towards working hours as working hours are varied to fit in with the current shift roster
