Description

A fantastic catering company with a portfolio of prestigious venues is looking for an event administrator to join their team.


Overall Objectives:


  • To coordinate all the venues events
  • To develop relationships with the internal client
  • To plan outstanding events for our private, corporate and internal events

Specific Responsibilities:


  • Meet and exceed the venue budget set for catering and venue hire
  • Plan and coordinate the confirmed events from the point on contract to the week prior to the event
  • Create contracts and events sheets
  • Organise event requirements through to final details
  • Collaborate with the internal client regarding their internal events calendar
  • Manage key external suppliers to ensure the successful delivery for events
  • Ensure event finances and invoicing is managed effectively
  • Send deposit and final invoices to the clients
  • Chase the event debtors as and when required
  • Manage the venue online profiles and thirdparty listings
  • Upsell where possible to ensure maximum profitability of each event
  • Work towards team and individual targets
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Create detailed function sheets for smooth handover to operations
  • Maintain and update the event diary and CRM system in a prompt and timely fashion

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£25,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
