We are currently seeking a highly organised and meticulous Spare Parts Coordinator to join our team at Becton Dickinson.
You will play a crucial role in maintaining our stock of spare parts, managing backorders, and ensuring excellent customer relations.
Your ability to optimize spare parts storage, track procurement, and negotiate with suppliers will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our business.

Main responsibilities will include:
- Optimise spare parts storage with respect to usable life and storage space constraints
- Dynamically update part availability to attain zero stock out of parts
- Track procurement receipt, handling, and storage of operation spares and materials
- Maintain minimum/maximum stock levels at all times
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure adherence to agreed storage conditions and preservation routines
- Assist in handling obsolescence and improving usable part life
- Track parts consumption and update planning dynamically
- Carry out cycle counting based on criticality, parts consumption, and parts value
About you:
- Ideally Level 2 or 3 education in engineering
- Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical parts, understanding of engineering principals
- Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic drawings is an advantage
- Ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams
- Proactive and decisive teammate with good interpersonal skills
- Proficient in English
