Description

Acorn is currently recruiting for a Clean Room Operative to join their client that manufacturer bespoke and semi-bespoke high-end mass spectrometers.

You will be working in their clean room for the preparation, sorting and cleaning of electrical and mechanical components to be used in the manufacture of Mass Spectrometers.

No prior knowledge required however experience in working in a clean room environment is desired. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out duties within the Clean Room as directed by the Production Manager
  • Processing and sorting of the manufacturing parts in batches
  • Carry out the cleaning of electrical and mechanical components in alignment of standard operating procedures
  • Inspecting components before moving them on to the manufacturing process
  • Any other duties that may be required from time to time

Person Specification:

  • Capability to work independently
  • Ideally experience in working with small electrical components
  • Attention to detail
  • Ideally worked in a clean room environment
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Good concentration
