Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Safety Specialist to join our team.

The Safety Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees by implementing and maintaining safety protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards
Investigate accidents and nearmisses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
Provide safety training to employees on various topics such as hazard communication, emergency response, and personal protective equipment
Collaborate with management to address safety concerns and promote a culture of safety within the organization

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
Proven experience working as a Safety Specialist or in a similar role
Strong analytical skills to analyze safety data and trends for continuous improvement
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards
Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and educate employees on safety practices
