We are looking for a creative, curious individual to join our Residential Care team as a
Level 2
Residential Care Officer. You'll be passionate about care and deeply committed to helping young people across the county to achieve independence.


Residential Care Officer level 2:


Lincolnshire County Council recognises the need for young people who are looked after to have the opportunity to experience independent living in an environment which allows for them to develop new skills in a supported manner.


The Home:

Denton Avenue, Grantham, provides semi-independent accommodation for young people who are looked after by Lincolnshire County Council. The accommodation comprises of two semi-detached houses.

The houses allows for up to five young people to reside, providing an independence programme for a period of up to 9 months.

All residents are aged between sixteen and eighteen and are looked after.


We're looking for resourceful, innovative individuals who are able to predominantly lone work, to join our team as a Residential Care Officer Level 2.

You'll be passionate about ensuring every young person is afforded the support and guidance needed prior to their next step towards independent living.

You will be deeply committed to helping young people across the county to achieve positive outcomes.

The role:


As a Residential Care Officer Level 2, in the absence of a senior member of staff you would be able to assume responsibility for the accommodation.

You would be responsible for the supervision and appraisal of junior staff.


The management of the staff will involve supervisory responsibilities, to attend and participate in multiagency working and evidence and promote standards.

You will be required to assume responsibility for the accommodation in the absence of the Assistant Homes Manager.
