Partner required for a fast growing accountancy practice based in the Manchester area.
Your future company
Our rapidly growing SME client, an accountancy practice, is seeking a Partner-level individual with expertise in technical accounting, team management, tax planning, and advisory services to join their team.
As a Partner, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical accounting team, managing client relationships, developing and implementing tax planning strategies, and providing advisory services to clients.
The role

Responsibilities:_
- Provide technical accounting expertise to clients, including guidance on complex accounting principles and regulations
- Manage a team of accounting professionals, set goals and objectives, provide feedback and coaching, and ensure the team meets performance standards
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimise clients' tax liabilities while complying with relevant laws and regulations
- Provide advisory services to clients on financial matters such as mergers and acquisitions, risk management, or financial reporting
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, act as a trusted advisor, and identify opportunities for additional services
- Work with the Managing Director to develop and implement strategic initiatives to grow the practice
- Keep uptodate with industry trends and changes in accounting and tax regulations, and ensure the team is informed and prepared to provide the highest level of service to clients
The requirements from you;
- Qualified either by ACCA or ACA or QBE or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience in technical accounting, team management, tax planning, and advisory services
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing and developing teams
- Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards
- Indepth knowledge of tax laws and regulations, with experience developing and implementing tax planning strategies for SMEs
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Experience in recruiting, training and developing new staff members
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problemsolving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment
