Nu-Staff are currently working with a prestigious client to support one of their main manufacturing locations based in Wattsville to recruit 1st Class Production Operatives.


  • Use of measuring tools (tape measure, micrometre and step gauge);
  • Previous roles in manufacturing/processing or related field is preferred;
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions;
  • Basic shop floor skills such as the ability to use hand tools;
  • A good communicator who enjoys working in a team;
  • PPE is required at all times

Key Responsibilities

  • Helping machine operatives with setting up and material stacking;
  • Double check measurements of materials;
  • Familiarise and be able to decipher operational job cards;
  • Visual inspections of material conditions during the manufacturing process;
  • Packing and labelling completed orders for shipping or storage;
  • Following company policies on packing;
  • Adhere to order quality standards;
  • Ensure your working area is clean and tidy;
  • Report all quality and process concerns to your team leader;
  • You will alternate your work stations in accordance with business need;
  • Follow all health and safety policies;
  • Take part in environmental procedures, waste segregation and recycling

Hours and Pay

  • 6am 2pm Monday to Friday
- £9.50 ph (increasing to £12.50 ph once perm)


Job Types:
Full-time, Temp to perm


Salary:
£9.50 per hour
