Description

The Marvell College requires an Educational Welfare Officer with effect from September 2023.

Grade 6 term time only - plus 10 directed days - Hours: 37 per week

Salary:
Grade 6 (SCP £25,409 - £27,852 per annum


Actual salary £22,486 - £24,648 pro rata


Applicants will need to demonstrate an understanding of the social and cultural factors that lead to higher rates of pupil absence and build strong relationships with children and families that are rooted in trust, mutual respect and a deep understanding of context.

The Marvell College has gone from strength to strength since receiving a "Good" Ofsted report in July 2019. Since then, the school has been oversubscribed every year.
