Description
We are currently looking to recruit Repack - Warehouse Colleagues for our new Dartford Site. The role of the Repack - Warehouse Colleague is to carry out packaging repairs on Articles.

You will repackage both internal and external damages to a high standard ensuring article packaging complies with all H&S standards.


This Repack role prevents packaging damages having to be adjusted from sites stock file preventing costly adjustments to the business.

Repackaging articles ensures waste is prevented and article availability is secured for customers.

Although your main focus will be Repack, you will also be tasked with general Warehouse Operational duties.

Shift: 06.00am pm (Any 5 from 7)


Salary:
£24,960.00


This position includes some weekend working, including bank holidays as the depot operates 24/7 therefore, it is essential that you are flexible in your approach to work.


Duties and responsibilities:


  • Cutting Boxes
  • Using created box designs on the ESKO cutting machine.


  • Repackaging

  • Physical repackaging of Articles from damage boxes to new cut boxes.


  • Repack Reporting

  • Using in house spreadhseets to record repacked Articles to identify common issues and damage trends.


  • General warehouse duties

  • Duties such as outbound sled wrapping, hygiene, pallet banding, picking, inventory stock checks.


  • Operating MHE

  • Use of MHE equipment to perform warehouse duties.
  • Working in a team environment
  • Working in a safe manner adhering to site Health & Safety regulations and Safe Systems of Work.

Person Profile:


  • Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions.
  • Ability to count accurately to enable the correct checking of stock.
  • Have a keen eye for detail and passion for ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved.
  • Have appropriate hand, eye, and foot coordination to effectively use mechanical handling equipment safely.
  • You will be reliable, selfmotivated, a strong team player and will have a flexible approach to work.
