Description

We're looking for people interested in a temporary contract for a 6-week period over Christmas and New Year. Monday to Friday plus an overtime shift is available on a Saturday

ABP is one of Europe's largest food processors and our site in Yetminster produces best quality lamb products including the premium Dorset Crown range.

The role of production operative is an important team player within the Production team. Contributing to meeting all customer and site specifications regarding the packing of all products.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Carry out final check of packed products to ensure item packed is correct and weight specified match customer order
At end of shift ensure work area is tidy and clear
Ensure customer [internal and external] company and site compliance
Always comply with company policy and procedure on safe food handling and hygiene
Undertake any other reasonable requests made
Report any accidents/absences are reported in line with site reporting procedures
Carry out all tasks in a safe manner in accordance with attached H&S responsibilities

Knowledge and Experience
Able to work under own initiative
Be a team player
If you do not have a Food Safety Level 2 qualification you will attend training as part of your role to achieve Level 2 Food Safety
Can do attitude with good communication skills and a basic understanding of verbal and written English

You will be working as an operative in Wholesale no experience is required.
