Description
Liaise with Theatre Co-ordinator/Team Leaders to identify specific equipment and medical devices required prospectively for theatre list. Liaise with SSDU regarding R&D issues. Liaise with loan equipment supplies to ensure availability of loan equipment. Liaise with Theatre Co-ordinator when there are problems with availability of equipment.

Liaise with procurement department to secure cost-effective supplies. Knowledge, training, and experience. Extension knowledge of instruments, medical devices, consumables, and theatre procedures acquired through intermediate training plus experience. Analytical and judgemental skills.

Assist senior staff in assessing requirements for theatre procedures and determine appropriate supplier. Investigate and resource supply related problems associated with receipt and dispatch of items to and from the decontamination unit.
