Description
Connect2Kent are recruiting on behalf of Kent County Council for an HR External Investigator.Qualifications & Experience:
- Equivalent experience or possession of CIPD level 5 or
- Significant experience of conducting professional, high quality and consistent investigations into a range of complex employee relations issues
- Significant experience of producing clear, concise and structure investigation reports
- Experience of working with trade unions or other representatives
Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to manage conflict and sensitive situations
- Ability to interpret complex policies, procedures and legislation
- Analytical skills to assess the evidence presented during the investigation in order to ensure that all aspects of the identified issues are fully explored and that conclusions can be reached as to whether or not there is a case to answer
Knowledge:
- Wide
- Comprehensive knowledge of best practice in respect of conducting investigations
