Their UK subsidiary, established over 30 years ago and based in Coventry, is responsible for sales, distribution and technical support for the UK and the Republic of Ireland.


The job:


The main duties and responsibilities for the Area Sales Manager include:

  • Increasing the turnover of the extensive product range including tilt and turn hardware, sliding door hardware, electro-mechanical products and mechanical ventilation systems.
  • Maintaining our Salesforce CEM system including all customer interaction, monitor and report accordingly all CEM activity to the General Manager
  • Working in partnership with existing distributors and their key accounts to gain new business, demonstrating the latest technology in window and door hardware systems.
  • Liaising with architects and specifiers to ensure product compatibility and develop a good working relationship.
  • Ensuring sales and margin targets are achieved
  • Ensuring the territory is managed to include existing and potential new customers through effective area planning
  • Regular review and analysis of customer activity to maximise the range of products sold
  • Ensuring effective communication between the customer and SIEGENIA to ensure their expectations are met
  • Prioritising projectspecific product requirements, where necessary, in order to meet the customer's needs.
  • Providing forecasts to the business for budgeting and stock purposes
  • Delivering an annual sales action plan and monthly reports to the General Manager
  • Actively seeking new business opportunities in line with the overall sales plan

Essential requirements for the Area Sales Manager:

  • A clean driving licence that is valid for use in the UK and Republic of Ireland.
  • Willingness to travel and undertake overnight stays where necessary.
  • Area sales experience within the construction industry
  • ITliterate, including experience of using a CRM/CEM system and high proficiency in Microsoft packages including Outlook, Excel and Word

Desirable but not essential for the Area Sales Manager:

  • Sales experience within the window/door industry
  • Technical experience in the construction of windows/doors
