The post holder will be part of the Strategic Housing team, which undertakes a number of functions to include the Clienting of Shropshire Council's housing companies.

The role of the Client officer is to support the management and monitoring of the contract held by Shropshire Towns and Rural Housing (STAR) for the delivery of core housing services to the Council owned housing stock, made up of circa 4,000 homes.

The postholder will be responsible for ensuring that the services provided by STAR are fulfilling the terms of the Agreement and that they are provided to the highest standard.


This is an exciting opportunity to join the Strategic Housing team and to have a direct impact and influence on how services are delivered to Shropshire Council tenants.

We are looking for someone with a commitment to embedding high standards within the Council's housing management arrangements and with a focus on performance management and gaining assurance.
