We have been instructed on an Accounts Semi Senior or Senior opportunity on behalf of a forward thinking firm of Chartered Accountants in Manchester.

This opportunity would be perfect for an AAT Qualified, ACA or ACCA student/ part qualified or recently qualified individual from a general practice background who is looking for career progression in a flexible and supportive team environment.

You will be working with a diverse client portfolio involving the preparation of year end financial statements, management accounts, personal and corporate tax computations, review of VAT returns & bookkeeping, and attending regular client meetings.

Our client is offering an extremely competitive remuneration and benefits package, study support (optional), and hybrid/ flexible working. Part time/ reduced hours also considered.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Corporation tax computations
Preparation of management accounts
Preparation/ review of VAT returns & bookkeeping
Liaising with HMRC
Mentoring trainees/ junior staff
Attending client meetings
Dealing with client queries

Requirements:

ACA/ ACCA Student/ Part Qualified/ Qualified
AAT Qualified
Good working knwledge of reporting standards FRS 105 & FRS102
Practice experience is essential
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
