Commissioning Manager - Bristol

Our client, a growing renewable energies contractor are currently recruiting for a Commissioning Manager to manage a team of test engineers.

Location:

Bristol

Remuneration:

£75,000 - £90,000 per annum plus car/car allowance, bonus & benefits

The role:

As the Commissioning Manager you will help to ensure the efficient delivery of the Commissioning of Renewable Energy schemes including High Voltage projects assigned to a project team / project and work closely with the Senior Project Manager / Project Managersand the test engineers within your team.

Requirements:

Gained relevant experience of commissioning activities within the electrical contracting or utility industries
Educated to a minimum HNC level in electrical engineering
Robust technical electrical engineering knowledge within the power sector with experience of commissioning including:
Primary / secondary injection testing
Relay programming and configuration (Micom, Sepam, Siemens, ABB)
AC and DC pressure testing
Cable testing (VLF, fault tracing and location)
Switchgear and transformer testing
