Up to date with trends in digital campaigning and what other organisations are doing to mobilise people to campaign for change.


  • Develop new tools, training and resources to support the diabetes community to get involved in our campaigning and influencing work.
  • Plan and lead meetings, workshops and events to involve people living with and affected by disease in the development and delivery of our campaigns.
  • Develop and oversee plans for using audience analysis, insight and targeting, to maximise supporter engagement in our campaigning and influencing work.
  • Take a lead on monitoring and evaluation of mobilisation activity — sharing any learning across the team and organisation to ensure that we continually improve and knowledge share.
  • Develop external networks and share good practice, ideas and activities that could increase our impact.
  • Represent the team on cross organisational working groups, influencing senior stakeholders and programme leads to support our plans and strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation particularly those in Regions and Nations, Strategic Marketing and Business Support teams to shape our approach to mobilisation and feed into wider organisational programmes of work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders and people living with and affected by diabetes.
  • Organised and methodical in your approach to delivery with excellent project management skills.
  • Able to build strong and effective relationships, with the ability to influence at every level and bring key stakeholders round to your way of thinking.
  • Up to date with trends in digital campaigning and what other organisations are doing to mobilise people to campaign for change.

  • Experience in developing mobilisation plans and calls to action for influencing campaigns.
  • Experience managing cross organisational projects.
  • Experience using insight to segment audiences and create tailored supporter journeys so that responses are maximised.
  • Experience analysing and presenting quantitative and qualitative data and using it to make recommendations for future work.
  • Adopt a calm and cando approach to find solutions to complex problems and be able to make decisions quickly and confidently.

Salary:
£34,913.00-£38,792.00 per year
