Scheduling team are looking for a
Materials Planner.


As we're putting our hearts and souls into the future of food, we'll be looking at you to ensure non bulk raw material ingredients, plus non SAP inventory items are planned, ordered, delivered and available to meet Production Schedule.

You will be the primary contact for Kellogg Suppliers on all non bulk raw material ingredients, plus non SAP inventory items, ensuring that they are kept to the minimum required stock holding, without risk to the Production Schedule.

HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Liaise with suppliers to order ingredients/materials, working on just in time principles in order to meet Production Schedule requirements
  • Attend daily Scheduling meeting to ensure adequate and appropriate storage for planned deliveries and ensure any schedule changes can be met through material supply and react accordingly
  • Support Inbound Logistics through advising on any required material stock checks, and regularly review material inventory levels and reorder as required, including managing down stock when products are delisted.
  • Book deliveries onto site, regularly review overdue planned deliveries and work with suppliers as necessary to correct under performance
  • Effectively manage SAP purchase orders and material contracts to ensure that all contracted volumes are called off and any outstanding balances from time based contracts are closed off
  • Raise adhoc requisitions relating to material handling and supply where required.
  • Support Finance through provision of information relating to invoice queries where required, and ensure no blocked invoices occur due to incorrect plant receipts
  • Provide week end scheduling Cover and act as out of hours contact if any issues with nonbulk raw material ingredients supply. Also provide holiday cover for Scheduling Administrator

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

  • Manufacturing experience, including a good understanding of Planning, Scheduling, Non-Bulk Warehousing and Bulk Storage procedures
  • Numerical/Analytical skills as well as good communication skills, attention to detail and focus on deadlines
  • Ability to influence the decisions of the shift management team
