I am currently supporting a Practice firm based in Bolton looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the firm. You will be working in a team of 6 and reporting into the Senior Accountant.

You daily duties will include:

Overall responsibility for a portfolio of clients, including ownership of the client relationship and the adherence to both statutory and internal deadlines.
Liaise with clients to aid the smooth onboarding of clients that subscribe to our accountancy service.
Perform quarterly reviews of an online bookkeeping tool to ensure financial information is uptodate, accurate and free from error.
Preparation and submission of VAT returns to HMRC.
Preparation and submission of monthly payroll to HMRC.
Preparation and submission of statutory accounts and corporation tax returns to HMRC.
Preparation and submission of selfassessment tax returns to HMRC.
Responsible for the registrations completed by the trainee accountant.
Involved with the training of new members of staff on the team.
