An exciting opportunity has become available for a dynamic and experienced Quality Coordinator to join a forward-thinking business, based in Andover in Hampshire.

Salary - up to £40,000

Working hours - Mon - Thur (07:00 - 16:00), and Friday (07:00 - 15:00).

Job type - Permanent


The Quality Coordinator will manage and co-ordinate all quality activities to ensure that the products and services meet the needs of their clients, are fit for purpose, and comply with industry and relevant international standards.


As a Quality and Health & Safety Coordinator, you will continuously review the quality control process, procedures, and capabilities to sustain cost-effective and efficient methods for meeting quality requirements.


Key skills required for a Quality Coordinator:

  • Knowledge and experience with manufacturing, inspection, and quality standards.
  • Background in quality management and knowledge of ISO9001:2015, ISO 1400
  • At least 4 years experience in a Quality Role.
  • Fully conversant with drawings for manufacture.
  • Experienced in a wide range of materials and manufacturing techniques.
  • Experience in international manufacturing would be desirable.
  • Experience working in a small to midsize company.
  • We are looking for someone who is handson, likes getting involved, and can roll their sleeves up.

Key responsibilities for a Health & Safety Coordinator:

  • Co-ordinate and implement improvements of the quality management system to assure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements and the standards set by our policies.
  • Maintain effective forms of corrective actions and methods.
  • Develop and drive internal, supplier, and thirdparty quality system audits.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, and Design & Eng. on the quality management of suppliers.
  • Assess supplier capabilities and monitor supplier quality to ensure desired levels of performance are achieved and maintained.
  • Work closely with Design Engineering on new product development and design changes to ensure Quality conformance and make suggestions for improvements to Manufacturers.
  • Implement NPI processes into company procedures.
  • Carry out inspection of production, process, and quality programs within the national and international supply chain.
