Are you an experienced Quality Assurance Officer with banking or mortgages experience? If so then this might be your dream role Our Client a Leading Mortgage Brokers with an incredible company culture are currently looking for a _Quality Assurance Officer_ to join them on a permanent basis.

The _Quality Assurance Officer_ will work in the 1st line of defence supporting the management team with the effective oversight of Mortgage Advice.


This is an excellent opportunity that will give you the chance to be involved in process improvement, change initiatives and the development of a growing team.


Responsibilities of the _Quality Assurance Officer_
;

  • Performing the Quality Assurance process and maintaining procedures for that process
  • Providing face to face QA feedback to mortgage advisers focusing on record keeping & suitability of advice
  • Preparing and delivering QA reports for the firm's management team
  • Contributes towards continuous improvement initiatives (T&D Plan's etc)
  • Assist the management team with resolving complaints
  • Assist the management team with regulatory submissions where required
  • Light regulatory horizon scanning this is assisted by external regulatory updates
  • Responsible for updating relevant registers complaints, vulnerable customer etc
  • Awareness of compliance monitoring schedule
  • Reporting of CPD activity to the management team

Background of the _Quality Assurance Officer_
may include;

  • Previous experience of working in a financial services quality assurance or compliance function preferably in
    _mortgages_.
  • Confident analytical person with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Recognises risk in daytoday processes, draws out the key issues and suggests ideas for continuous improvement
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
