Stockport NHS Foundation Trust have had a new investment of funding to expand their established Integrated Community Neuro Rehabilitation Service (CNRS).
We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative, experienced Assistant Practitioner to join our friendly, forward-thinking team providing rehabilitation for a diverse range of people with stroke and neurological conditions within Stockport.
Based in the community, you will work within a comprehensive multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Clinical Psychologists, Nurses, Therapy Assistants and Admin.
You will be welcomed as a valued member of the coordinated and committed team, sharing knowledge, skills and opportunities to learn.
You will help to facilitate the early supported discharge of stroke patients from the stroke unit, and work with patients with acute and long term neurological conditions to provide rehabilitation in the home environment, and other community settings, improving their quality of life.

Support and close collaboration is provided with the opportunity to work directly with experienced and specialist clinicians across the team, and you will be given the opportunity to provide support to band 3 Therapy Assistants within the team.
