An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator to join the Antenatal and Newborn Screening Team (ANNB). This team is based in Antenatal Clinic at St Michael's Hospital.


We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and experienced in all areas of administration who is a good communicator, well organised and able to prioritise their workload.

Attention to detail is a must.


The successful applicant will provide full administration support to the antenatal and newborn screening Co-ordinators using a variety of IT systems, they will take a full and active part in providing a high-quality service.


The purpose of this role is to provide support to the antenatal and newborn screening Co-ordinators to enable effective delivery of all the screening programmes within the trust.

Deal with patient queries. Escalate capacity problems and general issues to the role's line manager or relevant clinical staff as appropriate.

To act as a point of contact for queries from clinical and non-clinical staff.

Dealing with screening queries supported by the screening coordinators.

To attend meetings as appropriate and take minutes and circulate to group/team members.

To be involved with sending out correspondence to both patients and other healthcare professionals.
