Aspire People are currently seeking motivated and dedicated PMLD/SLD Learning Support Staff for an amazing Special Needs school in the North Birmingham area.

The school requires people who understand the needs of children and young people with PMLD and SLD needs and are not phased by the nature of the environment.

This is an amazing school with great facilities, the curriculum is varied and the staff are dedicated in supporting the development and well-being of all students.

Being enthusiastic and consistent in this role is essential and you must be a strong team player

Due to the nature of the children you must have an understanding and resilient personality and have a real passion for making a positive difference.

You may have to support a child or young person 1-1 or help support on a small groups basis.

This can be a challenging role and to be successful you will need a calm and empathetic nature, a can-do approach and be able to use your own initiative; health and safety procedures and the welfare of the children are paramount.

Aspire People is dedicated and passionate in helping to improve the education of SEND children across the Birmingham area; supporting local Special Needs Schools in finding the ideal staff that meet the needs of their school community.

To be considered for the position above you will need to have the following minimum requirements:

  • A positive and enthusiastic personality
  • Experience of supporting pupils with children and young people with PMLD & SLD needs (desirable)
The school caters for children with a wide range of needs including AUTISM,MLD,PMLD, SLD Complex Health Needs.
