This is an exciting opportunity to work for Dorset Leg Ulcer Service. We require an active Healthcare Support Worker to join the dedicated Leg Ulcer Nursing team.


This post is for 15 hours per week working in the Leg Ulcer Service to support Level 3 Leg Ulcer clinics, home visits in community covering North and West Dorset.

You will be working alongside the leg Ulcer nurse Specialist and support and training will be given.


You will be required to implement nursing care for patients and support specialist Leg Ulcer Assessments under the supervision of the Leg Ulcer Nurse Co-ordinator and work in partnership with the clients and their carers.


There will also be ample opportunity to work within the leg ulcer service on the bank in other leg ulcer clinics to cover annual leave and sickness.

On-going support and training will be given.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
