Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a brilliant marketing and communications professional to join our regional consultancy team in the North, looking after a cluster of properties and places in the Lake District.

We're bigger than you think, we're more complicated than we appear and we're larger scale than you'd imagine. We've got passionate people in all our teams, and we've got so much more we want to achieve. We're for everyone, for ever, and we really mean that.

We don't want to stop at 5.5 million members, and we want everyone to feel welcome and enjoy access to our places, so we need to reach new audiences in ways that are meaningful and relevant to them without losing the hearts and minds of those that are already with us.

The Lake District is an international tourism destination, a UNESCO world heritage site, attracting over 19 million visits a year.

The National Trust has been looking after the Lake District for 120 years, preserving its unique heritage, iconic landscapes and open spaces.

We're proud to care for over 20 per cent of the Lake District National Park, including 100 mountains, 24 lakes and tarns, rivers, valleys, woodlands, coast, footpaths and its precious habitats; helping nature and people thrive.

We also look after the homes and places that inspired the people who helped protect and preserve the much-loved landscapes, traditions and culture of the Lake District.

From William Wordsworth's childhood home Wordsworth House and Garden to Beatrix Potter's farmhouse Hill Top, each year we welcome visitors from all over the world and help share the stories of the people who have shaped the Lakes.

Provisional interviews will be held 2nd February.
