Page Personnel are currently partnering with a leading leisure and sport business, based in Chester, who are looking for a HR Generalist to join their team.

Reporting into the Group Head of Human Resources, you will be responsible for supporting the groupfunction in all HR related matters.

Description

The HR Generalist will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring all HR frameworks, policies, and procedures are up to date, in accordance with relevant law and legislation
  • Assisting in the management of the end to end recruitment process
  • Leading the onboarding process, ensuring its effectiveness
  • Collaborating with the wider HR team on engagement surveys, prioritising positive improvement
  • Providing assistance with the new hire review and appraisal process
  • Assisting in reward and recognition activities
  • Providing advice and guidance to local HR teams
  • Assisting in all areas of HR administration, including the management of the HRIS
  • Undertaking project work as required
  • Training new starters
  • Actively participating in HR meetings
  • Producing HR related reports
  • Any other ad hoc duties as required

Please note - this is a global role that requires quarterly international travel

Profile

The successful HR Generalist will have:

  • A proven track record within a similar role
  • CIPD L5 or above (desirable)
  • IT literate, ideally with knowledge of a HRIS
  • An ability to work in a fast paced environment, with a strong problem solving ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A genuine desire to learn and progress
