**Job purpose: I am a 13 year old non-verbal, epileptic boy looking for a friend who would be able to take me out and about, mostly whilst my little sister is at gymnastics at the weekend with our mum. Although I do enjoy watching my sister at gymnastics, I would like to do activities that I am interested in too.

I love going to the cinema, swimming, visiting amusement parks where we can go on funfair rides and trips to the beach and woods.

Very occasionally, I would like you to visit me at our family holiday destinations in places like Skegness or Great Yarmouth so we can carry out fun activities there.

Details:

Assistance to leave the house days out doing activities
Nonverbal but understands what you are saying
Uses wheelchair but can walk assisted for short trips.
In pads will need changing, uses RADAR key
Weekend working

Desirable:

Similar interest funfair rides, beach, woods, swimming, cinema.
Medically training (although training available)
Experience with sign a long (Signsupported communication)
Flexible

Essential:

Full UK Driving licence

Own vehicle

Blue badge available
Nonsmoker
PEG trained Fluid required every couple of hours if not taken in enough orally.

First aid trained

Knowledge of recovery position essential
Epileptic trained

Summary terms and conditions

The rate of pay for this position is £11 per hour
Hours and times of work: Saturday or Sunday depending on circumstances 9am1pm
You will be reimbursed for traveling expenses incurred as part of the role.
The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks
A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer
Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer
Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months
