PERMANENT NIGHT PORTER - BORDERS OF BEDFORD/MILTON KEYNES - £23,250 - Live in option available
We are delighted to be working on behalf our client who is looking for a Night Porter. A top-quality hotel/conference centre within a scenic part of a village on the borders of Bedford and Milton Keynes.

Due to the location you will either drive or require the "live in" option.

Working 5 nights out of 7 on a rota basis, hours of work 23:00 - 07:00.

Meals on duty and uniform provided; a choice of government and company pension schemes are also available

Daily duties are likely to involve the following:

  • Working with the team responsible for maintaining standards of guest service overnight
  • Front desk customer service in person and on the telephone
  • Audit and simple accounting/report production duties
  • Security of the building and guest safety
  • Late night bar service and simple bar snack food production
  • Cleaning and presentation standards of public areas

What we need from you:

  • Have a friendly, welcoming personality with excellent customer service skills
  • Previous experience within hospitality or similar but must be able to demonstrate previous experience within a face to face customer service environment
  • If you have previously been a night porter or similar that would be great
